DAILY BEACH EVENTS

Coca-Cola Beach

A top Spring Break venue in the nation, Coca Cola Beach is once again set up on the beach at the Isla Grand Resort (formerly the Radisson). In 2008, Coca Cola Beach attracted daily crowds ranging from 12,000 to 18,000 Spring Breakers, making it one of the most popular daytime hotspots. Activities include interactive games, prizes and the legendary Coca Cola Dance Contest, all fueled by a 50,000-watt sound system. Activities run every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Are You Army Strong?

The U.S. Army is an anchor sponsor of Spring Break 2009. They will be bringing back the ultimate 75-foot climbing tower that features simulated rock climbing, rappelling and cargo net climbing. Any Spring Breaker that makes it to the top will get a prize from U.S. Army soldiers. Located on the beach at the Isla Grand Resort, Spring Breakers can ride the U.S. Army mechanical bull and play in the Army Sports Zone tent featuring air hockey, foosball, a basketball challenge and NASCAR racing games. In the Isla Grand lobby, Spring Breakers can stay current with all their Facebook friends back home at the Army Internet Zone. The Army Golden Knights Parachute Team will also fly out of the sky on March 18-21.

Hawaiian Tropic Models

Keep an eye peeled for the Hawaiian Tropic Calendar models roaming the beaches with giveaways for Spring Breakers. And you can get your picture taken with these famous models. You can also find them hanging out at night for stage contests at Louie’s Backyard.

GEICO Gamer Zone

Geico will be bringing back its popular Gamer Zone to the beachfront at Isla Grand Resort. Free gifts and the chance to do battle in the most popular games on the market.

U.S. Navy Challenge

Saida Towers will host the U.S. Navy Physical Challenge featuring boxing, jousting and pull-up bars. Compete with your friends for great prizes in either the Physical Challenge or State Contests. You can also catch up with the Navy at their nighttime recruiting table at Louie’s Backyard.
